Gym Motivation

Gym Motivation That is something I’ve had a lack of in the past few days, the weather here in Canberra has been windy, cold and wet. I’ve been getting home around 7pm and by the time I’ve changed and driven to the Gym its closer to 7:15pm, It is then well after 8pm by the time I get home again which doesn’t leave me much time to do anything after I’ve had a shower, made dinner and have done the ritual of checking my e-mail and Twitter. Gym Cop Needed

Gym Cop Needed I get no end of pleasure watching young guys at the Gym lifting weights they shouldnt be lifting, but one thing irks me because of this and that is them dropping the weights after their sets. The Gym is on the 2nd floor of a building and directly below them is a Solicitor’s, now I’m sure if they wanted they could cause some legal hassle for the Management, I have mentioned to Michelle the Manager that she needs to put signs up saying don’t drop the weights, she said she has before with no success. Gym Spotting

Gym Spotting I went to the Gym tonight and decided to do a Chest workout, I warmed my Chest up on a machine then went over to a horizontal bench to do Dumbbell presses. Things were going fine and I felt strong so I went heavy (heavy for me at least) I grabbed two 40Kg Dumbbells took them over to the bench put them on the floor and then thought I’d better grab a spotter. Fitness Challenge

Fitness Challenge I’ve been challenged by one of my work colleagues to lose 10 Kilograms, It is something I’m trying to do anyway but there is a date limit of the 21st of August. That date is when I’m off to Western Australia to see my Sis and her kids and because it’s a holiday once I get there I will probably not eat well.
